Many of you sitting in this room have, had some bond with yours or someone else's pet in your life time, dogs, cats, birds etc. You think of them coming to greet you at the door when you come home. They were always apart of our lives one way or another. Even in the past, when they had to, people only sacrificed animals for the sake of survival. But as time progressed humanity increased in selfishness and began to kill animals for the sole benefits of their appearance and self worth. The society we live in now, we no longer require animals for alimentary needs, we are exploiting and torturing them to aid in our personal gain of superficial satisfaction and fur being a distinct example of this. Fur has become a major issue that has been endangering many species around the world. Stars in Hollywood display their fur as being a fashion statement and disregarding the horrid cruelty that these poor animals face everyday.
