Sounds hard...well imagine that on top of all that, you are pregnant...In the novel "Don' Think Twice" by Ruth Pennebaker, Anne is sent to a home for pregnant teenagers. It was ironic to find out that sweet, innocent, sensible Anne ended up pregnant. This is common in modern life; how unexpectedly people end up pregnant and ruin their future. In Anne's place on the other hand, they try to "fix" her life, in the best way possible.
Back then around the late 1960's abortion was not leagal, and it was imperative that all unmarried mothers were sent to a home to give their children up for adoption. This as well as other cases, was Anne's case. She had ended up......
