If you view china as a rising star, you should reguad Friedman a hero ,that is not to asy he had do sth help chinese official,but to say his theory is the bases china¡¯s boom which lasted so long that you can¡¯t imagine as china began open that is limit in toady¡¯s view .

I am from India which was a conisiderably closed economy before 1991. The problem with citizens of so called first world countries is that they do not have first hand experience of third world countries. The poverty and lack of basic freedom that we experienced is something you will never appreciate. It is the free market policies as advocated by visionaries like Mr. Friedman that has helped countries like India to come out of its self-destructing policies.
