· Describe how they are solved as city develops.
· Describe how the layout affects people.
· List any long-term problems that continue to exist and cannot be solved.
· If you had been able to plan city how would it have been different and what problems would have been the same.
Urban growth is what put the world at its current position. Every single city started out as a few people gathering at a designated spot, and grew to what it is now. The people gathered there because there was a river nearby, or the crop was especially fertile, or something of that nature. Then the people began needing things, like horseshoes, clothing, and houses. Sooner or later, the place will grow into a small town. As more people begin to settle, the place will spread out and soon enough become a city.
