In the Happy Trials, LLC case study, this for-profit facility is undecided on whether it or not it would be in their best interest to become unionized. The Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s) of Happy Trials, LLC has taken drastic measures to keep with their competitors, make their health care facility more presentable, and increase their long-term care of patients in the surrounding areas. This paper will explore some of the parameters associated with Happy Trial, LLC becoming unionized and address each of them in more details. In addition, this paper will also describe the basic labor laws as it pertains to each situation.
