After reading the essay "Once More to the Lake," by E.B. White, all I could do was think about my family trips. Riggs Lake on Mount Graham was my favorite getaway with friends and family. Even though we did not camp around this lake but going to that lake was so much fun. As I grew up my parents always made sure that my brother and I had the best summer vacation but during the rest of the school year we all needed our little getaways which included camping in the mountain and fishing at Riggs Lake.
"Once More to the Lake" is a story of a father and his son who visits an old family vacation spot. During the story, White tends to go back and forth between memories and his reality. He mentioned that even from all the terrible things that happened to he and his family the first time they went to the lake that it was the best vacation they ever had.
