Abstract
Twenty-one undergraduate students were instructed to perform a recall or recognition task. Participants viewed a list of 30 words. Twelve participants were given lists of 60 words, 30 target words and 30 distractors. Nine participants were given answer sheets numbered 1-30. The purpose was to examine effects of type of task (recall or recognition) on accuracy.
