E.E. Cummings
E.E. Cummings, one of our most famous poets is known to not only express himself through his poetry with mystical and anarchist beliefs, but through his paintings and other forms of visual and intellectual art. As far as writing, Cummings is known for his many styles of poetry. Love poems, satirical squibs, and descriptive nature poems are all included in his many styles. Through his poetry he has discovered an original way of describing the immediacy of sensuous experience he gets from everything he writes about.
Born Edward Estlin Cummings in 1894 to liberal, indulgent parents who from early on encouraged him to develop his creative gifts. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and continued to live there with his parents while attending public grade schools.
