If you look close enough you are able to see a man stealing from the gentlemen with the lady on his lap. It is easy to see how it can be applied today. People pickpocket others all the time. People are greedy and do not care anymore.
Death of a Miser, Bosch- It was created in 1500 and this shows how people in this era are to worried about possessions. Bosch is just trying to get the people to realize that your possessions will not go with you into the after life. All you have is good deeds. I think it can relate today because people spend all of there money on cars and big houses but they forget about the people living on the street or the orphans.
