Qualities Of Rainsford
What do you think of when you hear about a good guy character in a movie or book? Do you see someone who is muscular, smart, brave, and kind? Most people do. One of the characters in Richard Connell’s “The Most Dangerous Game” is Rainsford, your typical good guy. Rainsford is intelligent, courageous, and physically fit.
In your mind, can you picture Superman bending bars of steel or The Hulk lifting and throwing heavy things? Most superheroes are strong. Well, so is Rainsford. One thing about him is that he hunts jaguars. After he has killed the animal he would have to carry it to his truck, and jaguars can weigh up to 300 pounds! He was on his way to hunt jaguars when he fell off the yacht he was riding.
