i recently read a friend of mines note, and decieded to throw on my own little tid bit about the "good book". How often have things been mis translated. Or worse, been changed by men in power to have the bible suit there rules and regulation to scare the public into doing what they want. I know that that is not common these days. but when King henry the eighth was in power he had changed the bible several times to suit his laws. and burning all original copies of the bible so that it couldnt be used against him. i dont know about you, but to me that is ery unsettling about what word was changed.
and before reading on. I IN NO WAY MEAN TO INSULT ANYONES PERSONAL BELIEFS IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. just to be clear.
in my personal belief, using the bible in defence of any religous arguement should be nul and void, due to the facet that it was written by the imperfect hand of man... and people know how people and passing on stories goes.. look at the game of telephone tag! it may be a......
