Heart Disease is a general term that refers to one or several diseases of the heart. A Call to Action: Women and Heart Disease is a fairly short program that includes a panel of women physicians (mainly cardiologists) as well as women who have had a bout with heart disease in the past. After watching the segment with the panel of physicians I became aware of several statistics such as heart disease is the #1 killer of women and that one in three women dies from heart disease.
