A Dream is just that- A Dream…
If Dr. King was brought to the present time with a mystical time machine, he would be initially elated to see all of the integration and diversity that we take for granted. From schools, to businesses, to mass transit, everyone is served in the “same” manner disregarding race and social status. I can only imagine how proud he would feel that so much was accomplished. Unfortunately, the visible diversity is the best representation of his dream. It only touches the surface of the indefinite quest for equality. Dr. King’s dream hasn’t been achieved in today’s world. We are all not and will not be equal in any respect.
