We first decided to go to the Veterans Day parade. I was able to gain multiple interviews at this and gain valuable insight into the situation that caused veterans to be homeless. This isn't exactly what I wanted. I wanted people's stories, stories of the people who had been through so much, not just someone else's opinion of why it happened.. I desperately wanted stories like the one I had gotten from Henry. Those were the stories that needed to be out there. My first idea was to go to the American Legion Bar. My theory was that if anyone would know who to get in touch with it would be a bartender, since I have heard countless stories of how bar tenders are always being told peoples whole life stories. This was not the case, although I did hear some stories about the commitment
I emailed thirty-seven various legislatures and people involved with veterans welfare and posted notices on blogs, asking for help with the project and prayed that I would hear back from one of them. I......
