Same sex marriage seems to be a very controversial subject in today’s society. Many people do not agree with it what so ever, however others feel that same sex marriage is perfectly okay. This topic seems to be an on going argument because of the fact that it is abnormal to most, rather than normal and possibly a hard idea to get used to.
I personally don’t have an issue with same sex marriages. In the essay “I Want To Go To My Daughter’s Wedding,” I understand how Rochelle feels about her daughter getting married to another woman. Rochelle just seems to want her daughter to be happy, and if that means that she is gay and wants to marry another woman then so be it. Even though Rochelle approves of it, it doesn’t mean that it is just that easy to make a same sex marriage happen.
