Kauai- A Hawaiian Adventure
As I look out into the sea, I can taste the salt in the air and watch little rainbows glisten through the ocean’s spray. I feel relaxed as I take in the scenery and think about all the activities that will take place over the next week. It’s always been my dream to honeymoon in Hawaii. And I can see that it will be a dream worth waiting for.
Kauai was formed an estimated 600 million years ago. It is 550 miles wide and the fourth largest of all the Hawaiian Islands. We start our adventure on the south shore. If you’re going to Hawaii, you must spend ample time at the beautiful beaches. We roll the windows down on our car as we drive. There’s nothing like feeling the salty air on your face and being able to taste the water when you’re miles away. When you first step onto the sandy shore, your toes sink into the soft, warm sand.
