My wife has a very trying relationship with her family. Despite her successes in life, they continually dote on her bother and stifle her attempts to win their approval.
Every time this happens, she becomes upset and she swears she’s going to avoid the type of conversation that leads to conflict. Despite her endless proclamations, the confrontations happen during every visit.
