War is an unnecessary, premature, but often warranted struggle or defense. David Friedman once said “The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem; it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.” Diplomacy was once a strong ideal held by many Americans. The action of diplomacy in this new ear has continually become less evident and apparent. Though diplomat’s goals and level of perseverance have not changed their voices and status in social society has continually declined. Little Red Riding Hood, Lord of the Rings, and Narnia are all examples of warfare, good versus evil. Society bombards us with the constant idea of good versus evil. As a young child repeats the words and action portrayed in their surroundings it is only natural that people act out the beliefs and ideas society dictates. Society is not the only factor to the several causes of war; leadership is yet another significant cause of war. Herman Goering once said, “Naturally......
