As divorce becomes more common and many people choose not to marry, the youth of our nation are quickly losing a grasp on the idea of marriage. Children have always been affected by their elders and as parents separate, so does the idea of a genuine bond between two people in young children’s minds. In the early years of our lives we are brought into a world full of brand new surroundings everywhere we go. However, there is nothing more important to children than their parents or guardians. From saying mommy and dada until we are old enough to leave the house, the two figures with the most significant impact on our lives are our parents. Yet, when those two imperative people decide to split apart there is an infinite gap of loss that most kids are effected by until they are old enough to have their own kids.
