End of Project Report
This is the Project Manager’s report to the Project Board on how well the project has performed against its Project Initiation Document, including the original planned cost, schedule and tolerances, and final version of the Project Plan. There was one main objectives for the project for which eight specific work packages can be identified. This objective was:
(i) To devise a detailed implementation plan to use XML programming language so that Riordan can track orders and shipments of raw materials and finished products throughout its supply chain.
Objective (i) was addressed by first gathering information on the current supply chain management process from the two local companies which acted as partners to the Riordan Office in this project. These were Bickford Organic Juices and Brooks Chemical Supply. Then, having identified the key dates, the inventory process data for those periods were extracted from the Riordan Office’s archive and were analyzed......
