The disorder of Autism was first discovered by a Swiss psychiatrist by the name of Eugen Bleuler in the year nineteen eleven. Later Autism was described to a full extent by Dr. Leo Kanner who studied and observed over eleven children from the years nineteen thirty-eight to nineteen forty-three. From the nineteen forties to the nineteen sixties the medical community felt that individuals with autism were schizophrenic.
