Chromatography serves as the most effective method to isolate and purify biomolecules. This experiment aimed to characterize proteins using the principle of chromatography, specifically, using gel filtration chromatography (a.k.a gel-exclusion chromatography). This method separates proteins and other macromolecules on the basis of size. This technique can be used particularly in molecular weight determination and on a quantitative analysis of their molecular interactions.
