1. Problem statement
The idea behind the Australian Access Card proposes that all personal information of a card holder, such as name and address, be stored and maintained up to date by the Access Card department, which then forwards the updated information to other government departments to process and store etc. There are many different departments that will need to process immediate changes of such information. What structures and procedures can be implemented to minimize inaccurate and inconsistent information between government agencies, whilst keeping implementation costs down?
