Videogames: Useful Tools for Today’s Young Minds
I believe that videogames can be useful in many ways. I have three main reasons why I believe this. First videogames can be used to teach minds educational things. Second videogames can be used to save lives. Third, it can help with motor skills, reflexes, stamina, and hand-eye coordination.
My dealings with videogames help me with hand – eye coordination and reaction time. Some games put you in “real” world situations that you need to think quickly. These games help hone your reflexes and reaction time. If you don’t react fast enough, you will be killed. Some games are designed for mind stimulation, such as the puzzle and strategy games.
The military has been known to use videogames and controls to help train soldiers in combat. The Washington Post said has been used the past few years to recruit potential soldiers to our military; but increasingly the armed services are incorporating videogames and using skill sets.......
