What is air pollution? Air pollution is the release of very small particles of matter measuring about 2.5 micros or about .0001 inches into the air from burning fuel for energy. An example of this would be diesel smoke, burning fuels in automobiles, homes and industries. Air pollution is often referred to as black carbon pollution ( the release of tiny particles into the air burning fuel for energy). Air pollution is very dangerous to the human body, the environment, and animals and wildlife. It can be prevented but how can it be prevented when you have factories, cars, homes run everyday?
