Elevator Speech
The other day I was eating lunch at the Olive Garden in Leominster, and in walked my friend; I have not seen in many years, she asked how I was doing?
Well she was shocked by my response; I said something like this, Well Lisa believe it or not, I have enrolled in Axia College to earn my Associate Degree in Business, let me tell you about it.
This College is an online learning system that I can earn my degree from without leaving the comfort of my home. It is all done online, we log into our classroom this is called a forum; this is where my instructor and the other students also log into. Some forums are public and some are private with you and your instructor. The private forums are where we post most of our assignments to our instructor to review and give us feedback.
Although we are not all logged in at the same time just like emails or postal mail, we have asynchronous communication, which is pretty neat we all talk but at different times. There might be a......
