Recently I was at home cooking dinner and my wife became curious to what was on the screen being dispayed on my laptop, on the dining room table. She then decided to ask what it was. I then explained that it this was the online college I was enrolled with at University of Phoenix. Also, that the college was a series of forums which consisted of many threaded discussions taking place and being posted at different times. I explained that the forums were, for the most part, open to all students enrolled in class with the exception of an Individual forum, in which I post a thread directly to my instructor. The forums are what the classes are based on and the primary way students communicate with each other as well as the instructor. I also mentioned that the name of the online college was Axia. She then asked about how these threaded discussions work and I explained how it was similar to a chatroom, except the messages were not neccessarily live but, more like messages posted at......
