‘What is the historical relationship between the Interpol and Counterterrorism; what can other agencies learn from this?’
The historical relationship that lies between the International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO), also known as the Interpol can be summed up into one word; and that is cooperation. Counterterrorism cannot be executed without the cooperation of interagency security to fight against the war of terrorism. The Interpol from a historical prospective is a group of international agencies collaborating vital material for the sake of National Security. Terrorists over the last several years have increased their knowledge about the United States and many other Nations via the Internet. With the use of Steganography terrorists have engaged in hiding material to aid their transmitted communication. The combination of steganography and frequent flyer miles aided terrorists to engage in destroying America and the many lives that lay within its’ core.......
