IMPLICATIONS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
Environment can have a major impact on all areas of the society, including Business Organization as well as Personal Life-Styles. Two of the major issues that I want to discuss are Global Warming and Acid Rain.
Global Warming is also called the greenhouse effect, is believed to be caused by changes in the earth's atmosphere as a result of industrial processes. Rising global temperatures are expected to raise sea level, and change precipitation and other local climate conditions. Changing regional climate could alter forests, crop yields, and water supplies. It could also threaten human health, and harm birds, fish, and many types of ecosystems. Deserts may expand into existing rangelands, and the character of some of our National Parks may be permanently altered.
