During the 1940s, growing up in the United States of American became more complex. Technology provided new interest and amusements. The Great Depression and two world wars touch young people’s lives. Still some things did not change. Going to school and having fun were the only thing that children had to worry about. As the economy grew, many Americans were able to buy goods that were consider luxuries. Base ball continued to be a favorite sport of the Americans and with the National league out is was a hit in the 40s.
