Alexander Hamilton arrived in New York early in 1773 to study medicine. His birth date is unknown but it is thought to be around 1775. He was in college while the colonies began to revolt against Britain. Hamilton took interest in the political issues going on in the colonies. He thought through the situatino very thoroughly before stating his position on many issues. Hamilton wrote \"A Full Vindication of the Measures of Congress\" which stated his opinion s on local and national politics. Thi s made him more noticeable
as a skilled political thinker. Hamilton became a Captaoin of the Provincial Company of Artillery in 1776 when America started calling for recruits. Hamilton soon became a Lieutenant Colonel to Washington and fought at Valley Forge. Letter have been recovered that show that Hamilton had thought about the weaknesses of the current government under the Articles of Confederation and ways to strengthen it 7 years before the constitutional convention.......
