As children we read in the Bible that there are certain things that are wrong in the eyes of many, including God. We are taught about the creation of both a man and a woman. We are told that "God created them in his image". We are given a set of rules to live by so that when we leave this world for the next there will be a sacred place for us. It is in those rules for life that we are told that it is a sin to commit acts of sodomy. If this is the case then why do we have issues concerning gay and lesbian rights? It is a very difficult question to answer without first doing some research, then answering the question as honestly as possible without being biased. Do I believe that it is right for gay people to have special treatment and laws for a choice that they have made in their own lives? Do I believe in special treatment for someone that has taken it upon themselves to lead a life style that has been scorned forever? These are just a few of the questions that I hope to......
