I, personally felt like my experience in this "Interpersonal Communication" course over the past week was pointless. It was also a waste of my time and money. The text book titled Interpersonal Communication Relating to Others' by Steven A. Beebe, Susan J. Beebe, and Mark V. Redmond states on page nine that "being skilled in interpersonal communication can improve relationships with family, friends, lovers, colleagues and along with physical and emotional health.' I have been communicating just fine for the past twenty three years, so in my opinion I don't understand how this course and or book is going to help me communicate any better.
The majority of the material that was gone over this past week had no effect on me, however, on pages twenty-two through twenty-four it states four interpersonal communication myths in which I agree with one of them.
