Hinduism flows placidly like a slow moving river because it is one of the oldest religions in the world and therefore more mature because many people have been practicing it for centuries and are.. The way Hinduism is practiced is different from Christianity because the modes of religious practice are unique from Christianity. People in the Eastern hemisphere where Hinduism is prevalent have a very different lifestyle that is culturally apart from Western worlds.
Christianity is a more active religion and a larger percentage of the world population practice Christianity.
