David was born on a Friday at twelve o'clock midnight. His father's aunt Miss Betsy was present at his birth and when she found out he was a boy she left and never came back. David lives with his widowed mother and nurse Peggotty, who both love him dearly. He had sweet memories with his mother like playing, singing songs and hugging each other, she also taught his studies.
