Induced Abortion must be Banned
Induced abortion had been one of the most controversial issues since 1973. I believe that it is time to end the dispute and prohibit this immoral but legal murder. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) states that a total of 854,122 legal induced abortions were reported to CDC for 2002. When the unreported abortions are added, since CDC is a passive recipient of reports voluntarily sent to it by the states, the number will increase shockingly. “Therefore, Almost every third baby conceived in America is killed by abortion” (www.abortionfacts.com). We must ban the abortion and save those precious lives.
I believe that whether the unborn being is a fetus, embryo or fully-grown baby, it is a human being. Therefore, right after the sperm enters the egg, it gets all the human rights.
