After reviewing my assessment of my reading skills in the Discovery Wheel, my evaluation is correct. When reading, I underline and highlight important information and I also take effective notes. The in-class exercise about reading is a great exercise because I learned how to summarize the reading assignment and how to get the main idea by viewing the topic sentences. By reading the "reading" chapter in the textbook, I have new insights about the way I read and I will also become a more effective reader by following the many techniques of becoming a better reader. An example of a time where I had a problem with reading is with one of my current assignments from my business concepts class.
