I awoke suddenly in a cold sweat. It was the strangest dream I had had in a while. I was surrounded by people hovering around me, but they were all covered in gold. They wore pointed gold hats and lots of jewelry and they were sitting cross-legged with their legs manipulated in such a way that I could not have imagined possible
at least not for me. Though I was encircled by quite a crowd of these unique gilded people, there was not a word spoken amongst them. It was completely silent except for a strange, droning Ommmm,' that pounded in my ears and seemed to resonate from somewhere deep within these strange beings. Each one of the gold people had their eyes closed except for one whose eyes popped open when I glanced at him, and looked straight at me. He mouthed just one word to me before I woke, startled
Buddha!
I shook my head to clear my thoughts of the dream. Sometimes dreams could be so strange and pointless. Honestly, I was just a middle-class,......
