In the informative speech I wanted to inform the audience of the effects and the probable causes of global warming. And also present better and safer ways to emit pollutants into our atmosphere. I believe that I could have done more research on the effects of pollution and the effect it has on people living in and around areas that have large pollution problems. Giving some examples of what could happen if steps are not taken to change the amount of pollution that is emitted into the atmosphere stressed my stance of the subject. I feel that I could have presented the speech better if I had made my points clearer and approached them with more confidence.
I used examples from a movie that many people have seen to make a connection with them. In the introduction I used the disasters from the movie to grab the audiences attention and to inform them of what could happen if people continue to emit large quantities of carbon dioxide into our atmosphere.
