There are many types of boats available these days, but boats are usually made for specific reasons and sports. Wakeboarding is one of the sports done on the water. For the sport of wakeboarding, a person needs a big wake for gaining distance above the water. A wake is the wave that the boat puts off as it travels through the water. Gaining distance, or “air” as some people say, above the water allows the rider more time to do tricks, spins and flips and many other things.
