Overview of the Old Testament
Creation was the start of the Old Testament. Uncertain of a dates surrounding creation we can determine that it encompassed the creation, the Garden of Eden, the earth, man or mankind, and beast. God gave dominion over the earth to man and he was not to work, but man became disobedient to God and his order. Thus resulting in the fall of man and forcing them into exile.
As a result of mans disobedience sin entered the earth and man became unruly, except for a man name Noah. Noah was commanded by God to build an Ark, because he was going to send a flood to destroy the earth. Later, Abraham was born and became the father of many and was chosen to carry out the promises of God.
