SHOW AND TELL PROJECT Victoria Broda 10/15/08 B3 As a child, I was not attached to much of anything. I never had a specific doll that I always had to carry around, or a blanket that I had to sleep with at night. However, I do remember that I loved my Barbies. I especially adored the ones that my mother told me not to take out of the box. I thought that these Barbies in particular were so elegant. There was one that was set in the winter in the fifties and another that was a fashion model in the thirties, and another that was a millennium Barbie. They all were not as significant to me as a child because all I wanted to do was play with them. I thought that they were beautiful and deserved to be played with. However after my parents divorced and I got older, I realized the value that they possessed and appreciated the fact that my mom had gotten them for me.
