“Racial Equality: True or False?”
Equality is a part of the foundation of the United States. It has been noted by one of the founding members of this nation, Thomas Jefferson. In the Declaration of Independence, it is explained that all men are created equal, yet this explanation has not been a truthful part of American society. In fact, history presents a great deal of inequality among man kind since the founding of the United States in 1776. This inequality is based on a plethora of issues including gender, socioeconomic background, religion, and age. Although, the most notable cause of inequality in the United States is based on race and ethnic background.
