A Trip to Remember

My very first time leaving the country was an absolute mess. I was invited to spend two weeks with my uncle and his wife; my aunt. I was alone, and I’ll never forget how panicked I felt and how dreadful I thought it was in the Tokyo airport. It all started in Vancouver; it was the snows fault.
Five o’clock in the morning, Friday December Twenty-Sixth, the year Two Thousand and Eight. This was my day. Finally; it felt like it took forever. I jumped out of bed more excited than I’ve been in a long time; I still had some last minute packing to do. I heard my dad yell coffee was ready. Good, I needed that. I made up a cup for myself, folded up my pajamas and stuck them into the fully loaded suit case. I was bringing two, one was bursting at the seams, and the other one had hardly anything in it.
