When he started walking on two legs he realised that worshipping some supernatural power helps him in fulfilling his needs so he started calling Him by different names . As there was very less communication so people belonging to different areas developed their own Languages and they gave different names to Him as per their respective languages. But when new Empires developed they wanted that their People should be united and think in a particular way. The comparatively new Religions played a great role by preaching monolitihism i.e. calling the God only by one name.
