A child sitting with a remote of what is popularly called the idiot box called as television could watch anything from cartoons to programmes with murders and sexual content, not suitable for such young minds. Children at early as at the age of 2 are aware of TV and start relating to it. As with the increasing age they get acquainted with the TV more and more quickly. They start learning almost all the functioning of the television and also probably the reason behind this could be the developing technology which helps them to learn much faster. Viewing time also increases with the age, basically it depends upon a number of factors firstly the interest to watch television, parental influence in viewing habits and also content of their interest.
