I take pride on being a soldier that is accountable for my own actions at all times and am glad I have this opportunity to write this essay, as it gives me a better understanding the importance of being at the appropriate place of duty at the appropriate time and in the correct uniform for PT or the duty day.
A soldier should be at right place and right time as. There are many reasons why you should be at your place of duty at the right time as a soldier, the most important reason being the soldier’s safety and accountability to make sure they have not been harmed or injured in any way. That’s why it’s implemented by the NCO’s appointed over them. If an NCO tells you that you need to be at a location, at a certain time; you need to arrive at least 15 minutes early, preferably 20 to make sure you have time to deal with any traffic situations or road blocks that may come up.
