The Fisherman’s Plight
John John grew up in Kingston Jamaica and was exposed to the sea from a tender age. All his life he dreamt of owning a boat and conquering the sea. After finishing high school John John followed his dream and is now one of the most respected fishermen in Kingston, Jamaica. John John is registered with the Fisheries Division as a licensed fisherman.
I myself am fascinated by fishing and spend a lot of time trying to make a hobby into a source of good nutrition. I have had my moments. In fact I once had a 50 lb Tarpon at the mercy of my heavy duty Quantum fishing gear. Needless to say it got away. But I have been fed by the sea and have made my reputation among some established fishermen.
Anyway, one day I decided to make good an offer by John John to accompany him in the ultimate fishing experience – going out to ‘big sea’. The essence of this report is not to divulge the trauma of seasickness but rather to share my most memorable......
