Past age and present age, these means past age is my mother age when she was a child, called past age because it’s already past. And present age, like the Chinese idiom, yesterday was a history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a give. Give means present, so it called present age, and it’s now, my age.
This story will tell about my mother when she was on my age. This story is comparison between my life and her life. This is just to know what did the life like when my mother was on my age.
My mother used to live in a medium house at Malang, East Java. Now I live at Gading Serpong in a small house. But it’s different. In her house, she had 2 big bedrooms, one for her parents, and once more were their bedroom, I said ‘their’, because she has 7 siblings, and all of them are girls. It’s very crowded at bedtime, because 8 girls sleep at the same room. In their bedroom, they had 4 bunk bed made of wood. The wood was hard and strong, so it could hold 2 children......
