I chose to write this paper about my father, and his life altering journey through 3 major surgeries and almost crossing over. It all began back in the year 2000, when he was at work, 3 stories high in a bucket truck working on wires, being that he was a electrician. All week long up to this point he was complaining of feeling dizzy, weak, back & hip pain, however we didn’t think anything of it considering he was a very hard worker, putting in 14 hours of work some days. While he was up in the bucket truck he yelled down to his boss to bring him down immediately because he felt like he was going to faint, he never made it all the way down, mid-way through he actually passed out in the bucket. After everyone ran to his aid and helped him to recover they told him to go home for the day and get to the doctors and get himself checked out.
